Position Overview

CB Canada is seeking a Security Consultant to perform Security Threat and Risk Assessments of IT facilities and IT Infrastructure/Data Centers, adhering to ITSG-33 and the Harmonized Threat and Risk Assessment (HTRA) framework.

Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications
  • Possession of Federal Government Secret clearance (Level II)
  • Proven experience in conducting IT Security Threat and Risk Assessments (TRA) for secure IT systems utilizing CSEC's Harmonized Threat and Risk Assessment (TRA) Methodology (TRA-1) and ITSG-33.
    • Preparation of Statements of Sensitivity for IT systems managing Protected or Classified information using the CSEC Harmonized Threat and Risk Assessment (TRA) Methodology (TRA-1).
    • Execution of IT Security Threat and Risk Assessments for IT systems processing Protected or Classified information following CSEC Harmonized Threat and Risk Assessment (TRA) Methodology (TRA-1).
    • Development of Security Assessment and Authorization / Security and Accreditation packages for IT systems handling Protected or Classified information in accordance with IT SA&A methodology and terminology as defined in ITSG-33.
    • Conducting Technical Security Reviews of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) hardware or software products.
    • Preparation of IT Security Impact Analysis reports for IT solutions.
