Asset Mix Intern Position

CC&L Private Capital is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Mix Intern to join our team for a 6-month term. As an Asset Mix Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in asset mix and trading, working closely with our experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review client account details and verify trade restrictions
  • Review Asset mix Outage Report
  • Manage inquiries for the team
  • Analyze unrealized gains
  • Review client accounts for tax efficiency
  • Review alternative commitments and funding
  • Run and create custom reports
  • Manage ad-hoc requests and projects
  • Plan and model trades
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree or MBA with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Economics
  • Previous work term in a similar role
  • Knowledge and interest in capital markets and financial concepts
  • Proficient in MS Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure with high workload
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of various account types (RRSP, TFSA, LIRA, FHSA, etc.)

The salary range for this position is $42,900 - $50,700 CAD annualized. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
