Job Overview

Magna Exteriors is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in a permanent/regular position. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on presses, rolling mills, moulding machines, and other production equipment
  • Operate tool room equipment and perform welding and fabrication tasks as required
  • Assemble and install equipment, including drive shafts, conveyors, and other machinery
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe and healthful manner, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

  • Millwright certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
  • Excellent knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical processes
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete situations
  • Ability to interpret instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Overhead crane license
  • Forklift license
  • Tier 1 automotive manufacturing experience
