Job Title: General Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Supervisor to join our team at Norwin Contracting Inc.

Job Summary

The General Supervisor will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, and establishing methods to meet work schedules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Establish and implement effective work schedules and methods to meet project deadlines.
  • Coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
Working Conditions
  • Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment.

  • Accurate and reliable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team.
