Job Summary

As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, as well as operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up Services: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our team.
  • Merchandise Handling: Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products, ensuring they are properly packaged and prepared for delivery.
  • Record Keeping: Keep a record of items received and delivered, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Preparation and Restocking: Prepare, package, and restock goods, ensuring they are properly stored and ready for delivery.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods, taking care to ensure safe and efficient handling.
  • Navigation: Follow directions and read maps, navigating through various routes and locations to ensure timely delivery.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Work Hours: Work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands and schedules.
