Role Overview

As a key member of our team, the Intermediate or Senior Structural Engineer will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for our clients. Reporting to the Senior Department Manager/Structural Division Manager, this position requires expertise in civil infrastructure projects, including buildings, ports, harbours, and bridges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project management of ongoing initiatives, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Develop cost-effective engineering designs and construction solutions, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Prepare proposals and reports, showcasing expertise and project outcomes.
  • Manage Structural Engineering projects, including financial controls, project management, and client relationships.
  • Interpret complex data, informing strategic project directions and optimizations.
  • Craft innovative solutions to intricate engineering challenges, ensuring technical integrity and quality.
  • Oversee and guide a team of technicians, prioritizing customer service excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' Structural Engineer Experience or equivalent; Marine Engineering experience is an asset.
  • On path to registration or currently registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Proven project management and technical skills.
  • Experience with design software such as SAFI, Structure Point, WoodWorks, Microsoft.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
