Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at the Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu planning and kitchen efficiency.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure exceptional food preparation and presentation.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and banquets.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Develop and implement menu plans that meet the needs of our guests and align with our culinary vision.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
