Role Summary
Reporting directly to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor, the Certified Millwright will be responsible for comprehensive oversight of preventive maintenance tasks and repairs. This includes troubleshooting, diagnostics, and the formulation of service plans, both in the field and within the workshop as directed by the maintenance supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute mechanical preventive maintenance and repairs as part of the Mill Maintenance team.
  • Ensure safe operation while maintaining and repairing all milling machinery, including internal and external tailings systems and pumping mechanisms for both underground and freshwater supply.

Qualifications

  • Valid Red Seal Millwright Certificate.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant industrial experience, ideally within the mining sector.
  • Familiarity with SAG and Ball mills, conveyors, and gyratory crushers is advantageous.
  • Welding skills are considered a plus.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possession of a valid and current driver's license.
  • Must maintain a clean-shaven appearance.
  • Compliance with pre-employment testing requirements is mandatory.
