Job Summary

UPS is seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Casual Feeder Driver. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely transporting packages in residential and commercial areas, utilizing your excellent customer service skills and knowledge of navigation to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and pick up packages in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to UPS's high standards of customer service and safety.
  • Utilize technology to aid in delivery services, including navigation and tracking systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Meet or exceed daily delivery targets, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages.
  • Collaborate with other drivers and team members to achieve delivery goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 manual transmission driver's license issued in the province of Quebec.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (35kg) without assistance and 150 lbs. (68kg) with assistance.
  • Ability to read and navigate with map books.
  • Minimum 21 years of age (for insurance purposes).
  • Valid class 1 manual and automatic transmission driver's license.
  • Clean Driver's Abstract, with no at-fault accidents within the last 3 years and no traffic violations within the last 12 months.
  • Bilingual.

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday, flexible schedule (may work weekends and holidays).
  • Shifts may include evenings and nights, between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting hourly rate: $28/h ($9.00 hourly bonus).
  • Paid weekly, every Friday, via direct deposit into your account.

Qualifications

  • Pass medical test.
  • Able to work at night.
  • Able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Cross Border fast pass is preferable.
