Job Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Preparing compilation and review engagements;
- Performing and leading audit engagements;
- Preparing and reviewing corporate, trust, and personal tax returns;
- Supervising engagements and related tax filings;
- Identifying and resolving engagement issues;
- Supporting year-end planning;
- Training and mentoring junior staff;
- Developing and maintaining positive and productive working relationships;
- Supporting practice and professional development initiatives;
- Participating in business development initiatives.
Requirements
A successful candidate will have:
- A CPA designation or equivalent work experience;
- Experience working in public practice accounting;
- A strong understanding of accounting principles;
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
- An interest in managing and developing others;
- The ability to prioritize and manage deliverables, adhering to time and budget constraints;
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
