AV Group NB Inc. is a leading manufacturer of specialty pulp products, serving the global textile industry. Our Atholville Mill is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low-pressure piping systems and their components. Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing new mechanical equipment and low-pressure steam systems
  • Performing filter changes on hydronic heating systems and control air units
  • Lubricating mechanical equipment and cleaning condensate traps and equipment strainers
  • Checking fluid levels, temperature, and pressure within heating and cooling systems
  • Adjusting steam station pressure-reducing valves

Qualifications include:

  • Graduation from a grade twelve high school course with a 1st class Pipefitter certification
  • Experience considered an asset, with preference given to those with multiple trades
  • Ability to work overtime and take calls
