Pipefitter Specialist

The Pipefitter is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low-pressure piping systems and their components. This includes installing new mechanical equipment, performing filter changes, lubricating mechanical equipment, and checking fluid levels and temperatures within heating and cooling systems.

• Install new mechanical equipment and low, medium, and high-pressure steam systems, hydronic heating systems, cooling systems, and associated controls.
• Perform filter changes on hydronic heating systems, control air, air-handling units, and clean condensate traps and equipment strainers.
• Lubricate mechanical equipment and check fluid levels, temperatures, and pressures within heating and cooling systems.
• Adjust steam station pressure-reducing valves.

• Graduate of grade twelve high school course along with maintaining a 1st class Pipefitter certification.
• Experience considered an asset.
• Preference will be given to those with multiple trades.
• Must be willing to work overtime and take calls.
