Credit Risk Analyst

Societe Generale is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our Global Banking and Advisory team. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in assessing the creditworthiness of corporate counterparties and recommending appropriate credit limits, terms, and conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare high-quality credit applications and annual reviews of corporate counterparties, analyzing financial statements, industry dynamics, and competitive environments.
- Develop financial projections and determine debt repayment capability, ensuring compliance with Societe Generale's credit policies.
- Propose and update Obligor Risk Ratings, monitoring compliance with covenants.
- Review relevant legal documentation and propose changes as necessary to comply with Societe Generale's policies.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including business lines, bankers, legal, compliance, operations, and risk departments.
- 4+ years of experience as a credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent financial analytical skills, with ability to assess credit terms and conditions.
- Strong understanding of commercial and investment banking products.
- Ability to work in a team, interacting with colleagues in various locations.
- Excellent writing skills, with ability to summarize financial transactions.
- Understanding of accounting, legal, and regulatory issues governing relevant sectors.
- Ability to investigate, research, and synthesize data to make informed conclusions.
