Job Summary
The Management Development Trainee role at EMCO Corporation is a comprehensive program designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a management position. As a Management Development Trainee, you will progress through a 4-phased program, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of the business, including operations management, employee development, and customer relationships.
Program Outline
Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service (12-Months) - Focus on developing skills in warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions.
Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement (12-Months) - Develop expertise in customer problem-solving, relationship building with customers and vendors.
Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales (12-Months) - Focus on business development and sourcing sales, while expanding the customer base and creating stronger partnerships.
Phase 4: Leadership and Operations (3-Months) - Develop leadership skills, support the team through coaching and mentoring, and set vision and strategy for the business.
Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates.
