itec group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for custom automation equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and PLC programming, with experience in a custom machine build environment. You will be responsible for handling both electrical design and PLC programming responsibilities, and will work closely with our team to ensure the successful completion of projects.

We offer a competitive base salary, paid overtime, and a 25% travel requirement. If you are a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for custom automation equipment
  • Program PLCs for automation systems
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure project success
  • Travel up to 25% within North America
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree or diploma
  • 5+ years of PLC programming experience (AB)
  • 5+ years of electrical design experience (AutoCAD)
  • Ability to handle multiple large projects at a time
  • Canadian passport and willingness to travel

8am to 4:30pm

Permanent, Full-time

Pay Rate/Benefits:

$100k to $120k + paid OT, benefits, RRSP match
