Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver/Loader to join our team at Emterra Group. As a key member of our waste management team, you will be responsible for operating waste collection/recycling vehicles, loading curbside materials, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate waste collection/recycling vehicles (Rear Pack and Manual side loader)
  • Load curbside materials into the truck
  • Observe safe work practices
  • Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies
  • Ensure assigned routes are successfully completed in a timely and safe manner
  • Conduct pre and post trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario DZ driver's license with a clean driver's abstract and CVOR
  • Minimum one-year experience driving with DZ license OR an AZ graduate from an accredited driving school
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Able to successfully pass a background check consisting of an MTO medical/drug test, criminal history search, license verification, and employment confirmation
  • Punctual, reliable, team player

Incentives: $3000 Retention BONUS + Boot Allowance
