About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 31 Shoe Avenue Inc. as a Sales Clerk. As a Sales Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing advice on products and services.
  • Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions, handle cash, credit card, and debit payments, and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product information, features, and benefits to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Visual Merchandising: Assist in the display of merchandise, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in retail sales or a related field is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: 35 hours per week.
