About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Grizz Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our hotel's culinary expertise and appeal to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional results.
    • Provide guidance and support to help team members develop their careers and achieve their goals.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet demand.
    • Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to optimize our kitchen operations.
  • Cleanliness and Safety
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment that meets all health and safety regulations.
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff follow proper food handling and preparation procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best.
