Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler System Installer Apprentice to join our team at Master's Fire and Safety Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection equipment installation and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Coordinate materials, tools, and personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Prepare and Submit detailed tenders and quotations to clients.
  • Train and Mentor apprentices in the installation and maintenance of sprinkler systems.
  • Install and Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment.
  • Install Supports and Valves to support piping systems and sprinkler and fire protection equipment.
  • Join Pipes and Piping Sections using soldering and welding equipment.
  • Service and Repair sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supervise and Coordinate other workers to ensure project completion.
  • Test Systems for Leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment.
  • Clean and Maintain pipe units and fittings, and flush systems to ensure cleanliness.
  • Cut Openings for Pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines.
  • Install Supports, Valves, Piping, and Control Systems to ensure proper system function.
  • Measure, Cut, Thread, and Bend Pipes to required shape and size.
  • Remove and Replace Worn Components and reactivate systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Select Type and Size of Pipe required for each project.
  • Test Systems for Leaks using testing equipment.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials for each project.
  • Read and Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
