Job Summary

Viking Fire Protection Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our team. As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and drafting fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and draft fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, using computer-assisted design software such as AutoCad.
  • Develop and implement fire protection system designs that meet or exceed industry standards and codes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure fire protection system designs align with company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and evaluate fire protection systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices in fire protection engineering.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Fire Protection Engineering Technology or Design, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fire protection system drafting.
  • Piping background and proficiency in computer-assisted design software.
  • Knowledge of HydraCad and industry standards and codes governing fire protection system design and installation.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle.
