Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinic Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of medical procedures, including administering medications, drawing blood, and properly documenting care. This is a project-based position with competitive pay and ample opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the nursing facility's policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
  • Complete medical records by federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensure a safe and sanitary environment by all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient health status and progress.
  • Communicate with physicians and staff members to plan patient care.
  • Provide information regarding the status of patients to physicians or other care providers.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse with current licensure.
  • Active BLS/CPR Certification.
  • Knowledge of Med Surg required.
  • Immunization Record (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Two-Step TB (Or Chest X-Ray if two-step TB is not there)).
Work Environment:

This is a fixed-term contract position with a contract length of 3 months. The expected hours are no less than 36 per week, with a schedule that includes 10 hour shifts, 12 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts, day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

The work location is in Prince George, BC, and the ability to commute or relocate with an employer-provided relocation package is required.

The BC LPN License is required for this position.
