We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at MS DRYWALL LTD. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems to prepare estimates
- Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
- Utilize quantity take-off procedures to ensure accuracy
- Set up and monitor cost monitoring and reporting systems
- Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss changes and adjustments to cost estimates
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction estimating
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 30 hours per week
