Job Title: Precision Agriculture Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Precision Agriculture Specialist to join our team at Brandt. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business through the execution of our Precision Agriculture strategy at the field level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Support: Sell and support technology-related hardware and services for assigned locations, including leading the sale of items within the Precision Agriculture parts warehouse.
  • Data Service Sales: Sell value-added data services, such as profit mapping and crop intelligence, and promote machine connectivity to provide operational efficiency insights.
  • Customer Advisory: Advise customers on data being extracted to inform management decisions, and train local service and sales teams on machine optimization.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with the Account Manager to develop a plan to reach budget goals for local stores, and communicate regularly with the Precision AG Lead.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service: Uphold the Brandt standard for customer service.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of John Deere Precision Agriculture products is an asset, but not required.
  • Availability: Ability to do shift work and/or weekends during peak seasons, and travel to customer sites regularly.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Learning and Adaptability: Affinity for learning and staying up-to-date with new technology and data solutions.
  • IT Background: IT background or education is beneficial.
  • Sales Experience: Sales experience is a strong asset, but not required.
  • Relationship Building: Proven track record of building long-term relationships with clients.
