Key Responsibilities:

As part of the Business Services team, the selected candidate will acquire the necessary expertise to understand, prepare, and draft commercial credit documentation. The role involves assisting the Senior Manager in overseeing the financial portfolio's risk.

The Underwriter will undertake the following duties:

  1. Execute the underwriting process for new transactions and conduct annual reviews of existing files and modifications within set timelines.
  2. Input the client's financial data and projections into the risk assessment tool.
  3. Perform financial evaluations based on provided statements and forecasts, conduct sensitivity assessments, and benchmark against industry standards.
  4. Identify and assess risks related to client operations.
  5. Monitor discrepancies within client portfolios.
  6. Ensure compliance with credit authorization conditions regarding the implementation of securities.
  7. Engage in discussions or conference calls with clients.
  8. Participate in integrity and compliance initiatives (Code of Conduct, internal policies).
  9. Carry out tasks in alignment with established practices, policies, and objectives, while adhering to applicable laws and the Bank's guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • A university degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of three to five years of experience.
  • Exceptional writing capabilities.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • A positive and proactive mindset.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and critical thinking abilities.
  • A genuine interest in finance and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
