Instrumentation Mechanic Role at ERCO Worldwide

ERCO Worldwide is a leading provider of chemical solutions, and we're seeking a skilled Instrumentation Mechanic to join our team. As an Instrumentation Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and sustainability of our operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on field and laboratory instrumentation to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation equipment to minimize production losses and maintain efficiency.
  • Install and calibrate new instrumentation for plant modification projects to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Conduct safety interlock checks and identify process control opportunities to enhance overall plant safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and control repair materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage critical instrumentation spares within a Mechanical Integrity program to minimize downtime and optimize maintenance costs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Red Seal Journeyman Trade Certification or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of instrumentation experience, preferably in a heavy industry or Chemical Process Industries environment.
  • Familiarity with IEEE standards and ability to read electrical fabrication drawings.
  • Superior troubleshooting skills and basic computer knowledge.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to pass a pre-hire physical and drug screen.
