Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Optical Associate to join our team at our LaSalle clinic. As an Optical Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients and contributing to our organization's success.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a positive experience and building strong relationships.
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear options, including frames and lenses, and provide guidance on corrective eyewear solutions.
- Interpret optical prescriptions and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear.
- Place contact lens orders and assist with fittings.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and third-party providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards, using charisma and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment.
- Previous optical experience is considered an asset.
- Passionate about customer service and delivering exceptional patient care.
- High level of comfort using technology and computers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
