This position is pivotal, dynamic, and innovative, playing a crucial role in our mission to shape the future of the industry.
About You:
Master Coordinator:
You thrive on communication and collaboration with leaders in Innovation, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), and Automation, as you strategize and enhance BIM workflows within the organization.
Curiosity Across Disciplines:
While your experience may be rooted in a single technical discipline, you are eager to engage and coordinate across our award-winning, multidisciplinary teams, which include Transportation, Water, Structural, and Landscape engineering.
Project Management Expertise:
Your background in project management ensures that the rollout and implementation of BIM processes remain on schedule. You champion technology and innovation, fostering a culture that embraces change and experimentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and standardize BIM processes and workflows across ISL's various disciplines.
- Collaborate with the Innovation and Technology team to create detailed deployment plans for enhanced project delivery.
- Advocate for BIM and other methodologies to improve project outcomes.
- Evaluate software requirements and explore new software options for company use.
- Facilitate onboarding for new employees, providing insights into BIM procedures.
- Monitor upcoming projects to assist in implementing BIM processes and workflows.
- Oversee BIM implementations alongside project managers.
- Conduct quality reviews to ensure adherence to BIM processes.
Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with 3D design tools such as Revit or Civil 3D.
- Experience in designing and executing vertical or horizontal infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in a BIM environment utilizing programs like Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, or Inventor.
- BIM Certification from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience in creating BIM processes.
