Job Title: Instructor, Network Administration Technology

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Instructor to teach Network Administration Technology at Assiniboine Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing curriculum, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Instruction: Instruct students in a classroom, laboratory, or shop situation, and provide academic assistance during consultation hours.
  • Curriculum Development: Modify and/or develop course objectives, course outlines, curricula, and evaluation procedures and instruments.
  • Course Preparation: Prepare and maintain all course-related records, including evaluation, attendance records, and submit information as required.
  • Course Materials: Identify, prepare, and organize course materials and learning resources for course delivery.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain classroom, shop, and laboratory discipline and, if necessary, recommend action to supervisor regarding student behavior, including formal student disciplinary action.
  • Learning Environment: Facilitate and maintain a creative and positive learning environment that provides the opportunity for meaningful learning.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain program equipment, laboratory facilities, and materials to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: A degree or diploma in Network Administration Technology or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Related experience in the information technology sector, including CompTIA certification and experience with Cisco.
  • Skills: Strong technical, communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
