Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Estimator to join our team at 2847764 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates of labor and material costs for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Bidding: Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for construction projects, including preparation of pre-qualification submissions for clients.
  • Project Coordination: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate estimates and project requirements.
  • Cost Management: Operate computer-aided design (CADD) and other software systems to manage project costs and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and building codes.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for projects, as well as create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms.
  • Contractor Management: Maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and building codes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in construction estimating and project coordination.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and other computer software systems, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
