Pediatric Interventional Radiologist Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services and consulting services to the wider province of British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a full range of Pediatric Interventional Radiology procedures, including diagnostic angiography and vascular intervention, neuro-intervention, hepatobiliary and renal transplant intervention, vascular malformation therapy, long term vascular access, GI tract access and dilatation, joint injections, biopsy, pain management and oncologic intervention.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new imaging protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in teaching and clinical research activities, including medical school, residency and fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology and Interventional Radiology.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the Province of British Columbia.
  • Completion of recognized fellowships in Pediatric Radiology and Interventional Radiology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
