Position Overview: Tax Compliance Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Compliance Director to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our tax filings while providing expert guidance to our staff.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters, analyze relevant information, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Review individual, corporate, and trust tax returns, as well as other tax forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Provide technical support to our team of tax professionals, addressing complex issues and resolving queries effectively.
  • Apply current tax laws and regulations, identify potential non-compliance cases, errors, and proactively resolve disputes with tax authorities.
  • Contribute to the development of tax-related documentation and training materials, ensuring clarity and accuracy for all stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of tax technicians and advisors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the overall success of our tax department.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent professional certification in taxation.
  • Proven experience in tax compliance, demonstrating a strong understanding of relevant laws and principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
