ROLE OVERVIEW

As the Director of Maintenance, Reliability, and Environment, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational management of our organization. You will lead a team dedicated to ensuring equipment reliability and availability while guaranteeing compliance with environmental and safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pursue and adjust the strategic vision for preventive and corrective maintenance, in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of maintenance programs to ensure maximum availability of equipment and critical infrastructure.
  • Implement maintenance management systems to monitor performance, identify trends, and anticipate future needs.
  • Maintain and constantly improve the level of service offered to operational departments to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance processes to optimize performance and reduce costs.

TEAM AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a talented team of maintenance professionals.
  • Efficiently allocate human and financial resources to optimize maintenance operations.
  • Provide inspiring and motivating leadership to foster a collaborative and safe work environment.
  • Actively participate in the management of his team's working relationships in conjunction with the operations team.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

  • In collaboration with various departments, ensure compliance with relevant environmental and safety regulations.
  • Develop strategies to reduce carbon footprint and promote sustainable use of resources.
  • Integrate environmental practices into maintenance processes to support the organization's sustainability objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, combined with relevant on-the-job experience in maintenance-related functions.
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years' experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a complex industrial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS), industrial safety practices, and environmental regulations.
  • Advanced leadership, team management, and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (interaction with different departments).
