Job Title: Environmental I

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Environmental I. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting tasks in clinical and non-clinical areas
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as scrubbers and buffers
  • Remove waste and recyclables to designated areas
  • Restock supplies and linens in bathroom facilities
  • Identify and report potential hazards to the Working Leader
Requirements:
  • Grade 10 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 22 lbs
  • Effective communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Work-related experience in cleaning or a related field
  • Knowledge of hospital cleaning procedures and equipment
  • Customer service experience
  • Environmental Services leadership experience
