A&W Restaurants is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at our Foul Bay location. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and scheduling the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food to guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food to serve to guests
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and ensure staff follow procedures
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, sales and wastage and report to management
  • Staff Training: Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures and ensure skill transfer to new employees
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and corporate brand standards
  • Cash Handling: Deal with cash, opening and closing procedures with accuracy
  • Customer Service: Ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving issues as required
  • Team Management: Maintain climate relationship between team members

Requirements:

  • Availability: Are available to work 32-40 hours/week.
