Job Summary

24 HRS SSR AUTO TOWING INC is seeking a skilled Transportation Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to team members on new techniques and best practices to improve overall performance.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect and maintain vehicle and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Documentation: Ensure proper documentation for international cargo transport, including reports and records.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A) required.
  • Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with various reports and documents related to transportation.
  • Types of Trucks and Equipment: Experience with dry bulk, refrigerated, tow truck, and tractor-trailer vehicles.
  • Transportation Experience: Proven experience in international, long-haul, and provincial/territorial transportation.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance required.
  • Transportation Information: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel cross-border required.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads.
