Director, Clinical Operations and Planning

Fraser Health is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Clinical Operations to lead the development, re-development and oversight of Fraser Health Long Term Care Communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, guiding and facilitating the implementation of initiatives, programs and services related to new long-term care development projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement complex system-wide projects that require collaboration and working with interdisciplinary groups.
- Provide leadership and oversight related to long-term care through collaboration and partnership with operational leadership.
- Lead the design, planning, implementation and integration of service delivery models for regional services consistent with the strategic and operational goals of Fraser Health's broader long-term care services strategy.
- Work closely with local clinical and operations teams, physicians, Primary Care Networks, the Division of Family Practice, clinical leaders and other health care professionals to identify and plan for present and future program and service requirements.
- Provide guidance and direction on process improvement strategies that cross service areas.
- Master's Degree in Health, Business Administration or related health care discipline.
- 10 years recent progressive leadership/management experience in complex health care project/program planning, development, integration and/or redesign.
- 5 years related clinical and operational experience.
- Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring and Courageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of long-term care, and community care services.
- Extensive knowledge of clinical operations and service planning for clinical, non-clinical, and support services.
