Head Chef Opportunity at Rockies and River Restaurant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Rockies and River Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement new menu items that showcase our restaurant's unique flavor profile.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, including inventory management, staff supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and train our culinary staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional service to our guests.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role is required.
- Work Setting: This position is based in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Ranks of Chefs: We are looking for a candidate who has experience working as a Chef or Sous-Chef.
- Cuisine Specialties: We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Cantonese cuisine, Szechuan, and Dim Sum.
- Security and Safety: A criminal record check is required for this position.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
