Marina Operations Manager

In this key leadership position, the General Manager will oversee the Marina team, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in team leadership and management.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and mentor the Marina team to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor revenue and expenses to ensure financial success and make data-driven decisions.
- Oversee important infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and loyalty.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies and First Nations, to drive business growth and community engagement.
- Minimum 8-10 years of leadership experience in marina management, hospitality management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of operations management, including facilities management and customer service.
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Occupational First Aid - Level 1 certification required; Level 2 certification an asset.
- Proficiency in boating and fishing, with a solid understanding of related equipment and safety.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of boating and Pleasure Craft Operator's Certificate (PCOC) an asset.
