About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at GUARDIUM LOGISTICS LTD. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Picking and Stocking: Pick orders and stock materials and products in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Weighing and Wrapping: Weigh materials and goods, and wrap goods for shipping.
  • Packing and Unpacking: Pack and unpack goods, and ensure that they are properly labeled and stored.
  • Sorting, Crating, and Stacking: Sort, crate, and stack goods in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Transportation and Distribution: Transport and distribute materials and goods to and from our warehouse.
Work Environment

As a Material Handler, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment. You must be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work for extended periods of time.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Personal Suitability: Hardworking, dependable, reliable, team player.
Work Terms
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
