Bulldog Pub and Grill is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service skills.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure that staff are equipped to provide excellent service to customers.
- Operations Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and beverage service is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Financial Management
- Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for food and beverage operations.
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
- Security and Safety
- Ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with security and safety procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure that the workplace is safe and secure.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure to meet customer demands.
- Work a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Basic security clearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure to meet customer demands.
