Hotel Front Office Supervisor
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Silver Hotel Group. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk, including guest registration, check-out, and payment processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the front office team to ensure excellent guest service and efficient operations.
- Act as a role model in our service vision and standards, promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
- Process guest payments, handle customer complaints, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Train and develop the front office team on systems, security, and cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Accounting, Revenue Management, Sales, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, and Maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Verify accurate room status information and communicate effectively with the team.
- Resolve guest problems quickly and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, coaching, performance management, hiring, performance reviews, and training for the front office team.
- Understand and comply with all health and safety rules, regulations, and laws, reporting any incidents or hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience in a hospitality setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests, visitors, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, maintaining composure and objectivity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in property operating systems and MS Office.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, as required by management and operations.
