Unlock Your Potential as a Principal Architectural Leader in Health

We are seeking a collaborative and visionary leader to join our team as a Principal Architectural Leader in the Health Sector. As a key member of our healthcare design team, you will be responsible for leading architectural project teams and delivering high-quality design solutions that improve the health and well-being of our clients and communities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural project teams to deliver major healthcare projects, ranging from 80,000 sqft to 800,000 sqft.
  • Interface with architectural and engineering leaders across North America to drive project success.
  • Inspire our team and represent healthcare design through thought leadership and industry engagement.
  • Sustain and grow revenue within your region and across the North American market.
  • Collaborate with project leads to achieve key operational performance metrics.
  • Lead local and regional business development pursuits to drive growth and innovation.
  • Serve as a seller-doer, generating work and creating long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain industry relationships and visibility to stay ahead of market trends.
  • Mentor and coach the next generation of designers and thought leaders to drive knowledge sharing and growth.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Recent experience in healthcare with a focus on specialty areas.
  • Acumen related to project delivery innovations and design leadership.
  • Demonstrated design and planning leadership on major projects, with a strong understanding of architecture for health facilities.
  • Ability to lead project teams across a range of healthcare project types, with a focus on technical understanding and strategic pre-positioning.
  • Strong business development skills, with an entrepreneurial orientation and understanding of business development challenges.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organization, coordination, leadership, and team-building skills, with a focus on knowledge of market assessment techniques.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • Licensed and credentialed Architect is preferred, with a focus on LEED AP Credential.
  • 15 years of experience in the AEC industry, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality design solutions and driving business growth.
