Position Overview: NORPRO Security Ltd. is seeking dedicated and self-driven individuals to fill the role of Mobile Security Patrol Officers. Our organization provides a comprehensive array of security solutions across Northern Ontario, catering to diverse client needs with both standalone and integrated services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned properties, utilizing surveillance systems and inspecting various access points to manage entry.
  • Monitor designated areas to prevent unauthorized access, property damage, and security breaches.
  • Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal activities and respond promptly to any incidents, reporting findings to supervisors and emergency services as necessary.
  • Observe and document incidents at client locations, ensuring the safety and security of their assets.
  • Respond effectively to alarm signals.
  • Operate advanced monitoring equipment and security cameras.
  • Comply with all operational standards and regulations set forth by the company.
  • Act swiftly in emergencies to provide assistance as needed.
  • Prepare and submit detailed security reports.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all incidents and accidents, forwarding reports to the Operations Manager.
  • Provide oversight and support to Static Security Guards through regular patrols and communication.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Security Guard License
  • Current Standard First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Valid Class G Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • At least one year of experience in a security role
  • Police Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in computer usage and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle urgent situations effectively
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention or willingness to obtain
  • Training in Resistance Management and Effective Communication is a plus
