Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Immigration Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert immigration advice and guidance to clients, evaluating their profiles and identifying the best immigration pathway for them.
Key Responsibilities- Client Consultations: Provide immigration consultations to clients, evaluating their profiles and indicating the best immigration pathway for them.
- Application Preparation: Work on applications to be submitted to IRCC, including filling out forms, drafting letters of motivation and presentation, and compiling supporting documents.
- Staying Up-to-Date: Keep up to date with recent changes in Canadian immigration laws.
- Application Monitoring: Monitor applications and ensure timely submission.
- Client Information Management: Create, maintain, and collect all necessary information for each client's immigration process.
- Electronic Form Filling: Fill out electronic forms with client information, following ICCRC regulations.
- Professional Development: Proactively participate in paralegal training and stay current with industry developments.
- Client Follow-up: Follow up with clients after consultations to close contracts.
- Language Skills: Advanced level of Spanish and English (Speaking French will be a plus).
- Experience: 1-5 years of experience in the field.
- Organization and Time Management: High level of organization and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to solve problems independently with high analytical thinking that aligns with the company's values and objectives.
- Communication and Professionalism: Good communication and professionalism with co-workers and clients.
- Flexibility and Autonomy: Flexible and autonomous, with a willingness to participate in team efforts.
- Computer Skills: Good computer skills, with experience in handling client documents and openness to learning new programs and systems.
- Continuous Learning: Open to feedback and personal improvement.
- Professional Certification: Have a valid ICCRC / IRCC license.
