AFTER-HOURS MATH AND LANGUAGE SUPPORT TEACHING POSITIONS

(TIPS, OSSLT PREPARATION, NUMERACY ASSISTANCE)

(BEFORE SCHOOL, LUNCHTIME PROGRAMS, AND/OR AFTER SCHOOL)

Temporary Assignments of 2, 4, and 6 Weeks

Positions Available:

ELEMENTARY LEVEL

Instructor for Remedial Math and English for Grades 7/8

SECONDARY LEVEL

Instructor for Remedial Math and English Secondary (non-credit)

Program Overview:

Assignments and session lengths may differ based on school programs.

Qualifications Required:

Ontario Teacher's Certification is mandatory.

Special Education qualifications are advantageous.

Preference will be given to current contract educators.

Responsibilities Include:

Maintaining attendance records in Power School.

Positions commence as schools initiate their programs.

Current contract educators within this Board are encouraged to submit applications directly to their school principal. If vacancies remain, LTO and supply teachers will be considered (must be current board employees).

  1. A cover letter detailing your interest in the position and relevant teaching experience.
  2. A comprehensive resume outlining your education and experience.
  3. A copy of your current Ontario Teacher's Certificate of Qualification.
  4. Clearly indicate "After-Hours Academic Support" in your cover letter.
