We are seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Cachet Village Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including physical examinations, patient assessment, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and test results.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients and their families, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Completion of a veterinary technician program and registration in Ontario.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, other healthcare professionals, and pet owners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
