Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Wings Up (Kitchener) is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Food Quality: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
