Job Summary

As the Strategic Finance Manager (Global FP&A and IR) at Aurora Cannabis, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success. This dynamic finance professional will lead the development and maintenance of enterprise-wide financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global FP&A: Develop and maintain 3+ year financial models to evaluate business performance, capital allocation decisions, and strategic initiatives. Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to identify opportunities and risks for the business. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Investor Relations: Assist in the preparation of investor communications, including earnings releases, investor presentations, and quarterly reports. Collaborate with the Director, Strategic Finance, to respond to investor inquiries and analyze market trends affecting investor sentiment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Finance; CPA, MBA, or CFA is an asset.
  • 5 years of experience, preferably with a publicly traded company, global organization, public accounting firm, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, 3+ year forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
