Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst - Operational Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Operational Risk Management practice, you will be responsible for defining and delivering robust technology capabilities to support the execution of our Operational Risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Operational Risk practice leads and teams to define and manage requirements and recommend solutions.
  • Translate overall business requirements into requirements/user stories for each solution component and provide inputs to detail functional design.
  • Develop and execute UAT test plans to ensure the quality of our Operational Risk systems.
  • Facilitate the development of new technology capabilities and application enhancements for Operational Risk systems.
  • Review detailed design specifications, test plans, and user documentation for functional and technical completeness and accuracy.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience with a strong background working in the Operational Risk space.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to drive the solution design process.
  • Advanced experience with elicitation techniques, including document analysis, interviews, facilitated workshops, observation, prototyping, focus groups, and surveys.
  • Proficient knowledge of application UAT test approach, planning, and execution.
  • Experience working with various project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Able to analyze data sets, identify underlying data patterns, document findings, and problem-solve.
  • Ability to partner and build strong relationships with people internally and externally at all levels, including senior leaders.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Archer platform experience.
  • Data analysis background.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of remote and in-office work.
