As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery such as backhoes, loaders, and graders to perform various tasks such as excavation, grading, and hauling materials.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
* Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
* Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
* Complete onboard and other logs
* Train or assist in the training of other workers
* Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment

Requirements:

* 5 years or more of experience operating heavy equipment
* Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification
* Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
* Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
* Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
* Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
* Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
* CPR Certificate
* First Aid Certificate
* Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
* Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
* Ground Disturbance - Level II program
